Working a lead
Once an enquirer replies, the lead is connected to you and appears in My Demand > My Leads. Select a lead to open its page.
Find your leads
Section titled “Find your leads”My Demand > My Leads shows:
- Accepted: leads you’ve accepted that are waiting on a reply, plus any that lapsed in the last 7 days.
- Your connected leads, each with location, lead type, when it was connected, its status and the amount Paid.
Badges on a lead can include Not messaged yet and Dispute open.
Filter the list by Pillar and Status, or select Refresh to reload it. Select View detail to open a lead.
The lead page
Section titled “The lead page”The lead page shows the pillar, the current status, the location and lead type, when it was connected and what you paid. Below that are these sections.
Contact
Section titled “Contact”The enquirer’s Name, Email and Phone. Select an email or phone number to start an email or call, or select Copy to copy it.
Messages
Section titled “Messages”You can message the enquirer through KnowYourMarket.ai. Your message goes by email and SMS, and their reply comes back to the lead page.
Until you send your first message, a banner at the top of the page shows how long you have left.
- Select Write your first message on the banner.
- Write your message and send it.
Pipeline
Section titled “Pipeline”Track where the lead is up to.
- Under Move to, select a status: New, Contacted, Qualified, Won or Lost.
- For Won or Lost, confirm with Confirm Won or Confirm Lost.
Won and Lost are final. Once set, no further status changes are allowed.
To log something without changing status, type in Note (optional) and select Add note. If you type a note and then change status, the note is attached to that change.
Pipeline history
Section titled “Pipeline history”A list of everything that has happened on the lead, newest first: when it was connected, each status change, and each note, with who did it.
Lead details
Section titled “Lead details”The full enquiry, including:
- contact signals, such as whether a phone number was included and whether the enquirer confirmed
- They also told us: every extra answer they gave
- Contact checks: phone line and email domain checks, and whether they opened or clicked our email
Dispute
Section titled “Dispute”Raise a dispute if something is wrong with the lead. See Disputes.
Handover settings
Section titled “Handover settings”Handover is what the enquirer is offered the moment you accept a lead. KnowYourMarket.ai texts and emails the enquirer for you, so give them something to do: book straight into your calendar, or pick when you should call.
Set this up in My Demand > Settings > Handover to the enquirer.
- Booking link: your HotDoc, HealthEngine, Calendly or own booking page. The enquirer can tap it from the text or email.
- Call options: tick Call me today (the enquirer replies 1) and/or Call me tomorrow (the enquirer replies 2). When the enquirer picks one, you get an email straight away with their number.
- Check What the enquirer gets to preview the message.
- Select Save.
If nothing is set, enquirers are told you’ll be in touch.
You can also adjust the handover for a single lead in the lead’s details before you select Accept.
Follow-up email
Section titled “Follow-up email”After a lead is connected you may get a follow-up email asking how it went. The link in that email works without signing in.
