Industry Intelligence Report
The Industry Intelligence Report is a structural analysis of one industry in one Australian geography. It covers market size, demand, competitive forces, risk and outlook, and is backed by ABS and ATO data.
Unlike the other reports, it’s about an industry rather than your business, so you don’t enter a business name or website.
What it answers
Section titled “What it answers”- How big is this industry here, and where is demand heading?
- What are the competitive forces and risks?
- What’s the outlook?
Order it
Section titled “Order it”- Go to Intelligence Reports and select + New report.
- Select Start on Industry Intelligence Report.
- Fill in the form (below).
- Select Generate Industry Intelligence Report.
Industry & Geography
Section titled “Industry & Geography”- Industry (ANZSIC class) *: start typing a 4-digit code (for example 3231) or part of the industry name (for example plumbing), then pick from the list. Once it’s recognised, you’ll see “Selected:” with the code and name. You must pick a recognised industry before you can submit.
- Geography *: choose National or a state or territory. For more detail, select + Advanced: finer geographies to add greater capital city areas and rest-of-state areas.
Steering Notes (Optional)
Section titled “Steering Notes (Optional)”- Anything specific the report should focus on? For example, the solar and battery transition for residential electrical contractors. Up to 1,000 characters. Leave it blank for a standard report.
